A gorgeous brindle boy named Oliver was the 5th greyhound on the Alabama haul and was the only one that we received who wasn't black....but we hear that the other greys didn't mind! All Oliver knew was he was getting a mom, a dad and a big sister (who just happened to be a grey too). He wanted his own family and he couldn't wait to meet them all...he hoped that his big sister liked him!
Jo and Matt lost their male grey unexpectedly a couple of months ago and they missed having a boy around. Tasha was missing her brother so the family decided they couldn't wait.......they had room in their hearts and they needed to fill it. We've been told that everyone is settling in nicely and their family is complete.
Blue Ridge Greyhound Adoption (BRGA) is a racing-neutral, non-profit greyhound rescue and adoption organization serving the entire Northern Virginia and adjacent areas east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. BRGA was founded in May, 2005 in Leesburg, Virginia. BRGA is dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. Our goal is to promote public awareness about what excellent pets these elegant dogs make. We work closely with other greyhound rescue organizations to ensure that no retired racing greyhound is left behind.
