In memory of a friend
Paula Bither always looked forward to greeting our greyhounds. She would sit at the window in her upstairs bedroom and watch for us to walk up the pathway and wave to each other. On warm sunny days she would be out on the porch and we would stop by to let Kara and Jason get their love and kisses. Here she is being kissed by Jason, her favorite - they were kindred spirits. When she moved to Arizona we still corresponded and sent her photos of the dogs - it was obvious how much she missed Jason. When he passed on in 2005, we did not have the heart to tell her. Now that she too has crossed the rainbow bridge, they are together again - and we are left to miss them both. In her will, Paula asked that her friends send donations to the hospice or to BRGA, instead of flowers. We salute you, Paula Bither.
